Navy Athletic Hall of Fame

Recognizing Midshipmen for their athletic achievements.

The United States Naval Academy develops young women and men into future leaders with outstanding moral, mental, and physical aptitude. The Academy requires participation in competitive sports, and the many stories of Midshipmen athletic success are now on permanent display in the Athletic Hall of Fame in Lejeune Hall. Relative Scale was honored to create the interactive recognition experience for this important space.

The media program lives in two locations in the Hall of Fame, and each installation consists of a 70-inch, 4K resolution touchscreen that is mounted portrait orientation.

When guests approach the recognition experience, they see animating shapes that represent the various men’s, women’s, and coed sports.

The application features over 30 sports and 1,000 searchable student-athletes. Guests select a sport, browse Midshipmen athletes, and discover media, accolades, service information, and testimonials.

Guests can also view the Army-Navy Beat Board and learn the win-loss-tie records for all competitions between these two historic rivals.

Both database-driven media experiences are supported by a Content Management System.
